Blue mountain wellness studio has one of the few floatation tanks in Alaska.
 
Our floatation tank is a sound proof, covered tank, with a 10 inch deep pool of heated water in which 800 pounds of Epsom salts has been dissolved.
 
This gives the floater a high buoyancy with the effect of a slight traction while the relaxing properties of the magnesium salts reduce muscle soreness.
 
The ionized filtration and purification system keeps the water pure and a heater maintains the temperature consistent with your body's.
 
Music, if desired, is provided, You may bring your own CD.
 
The float tank is popular with people who like to meditate, plan, problem solve, or just get some uninterrupted quite time.
